Our Mission
STEMbiotic Communities Inc. is a 501(c)(3) that forms “partnerships” with the business, academic, nonprofit, and public service sectors to ensure youth with limited resources take to heart the message “STEM is for You, Too” and get connected to opportunities that facilitate their development of Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics (STEM) basic competencies and life skills to obtain postsecondary credentials and establish life-stabilizing careers. As an organization, through partnerships, we connect youth with limited resources to life-changing experiences that empower them to gain access to develop STEM/STEAM, Leadership, and Life Skills which prepare them to thrive in their careers and societies-at-large. Through partnerships, we act as a catalyst and enabler to align, focus, and maximize the total capabilities of all partnership members.
Our Mottois stronger and more impactful together! We do not “reinvent the wheel” or work in isolation. Instead, STEMbiotic Communities is committed to harnessing the power of cross-sector partnerships at scale.

Our Programmatic Focus
is on outreach and communication that leads to access and life changing experiences. We know there are already over 5000 STEM and youth
leadership educational and skill-building programs across the USA. Through strategic partnering, we intend to connect youth with limited resources to these opportunities by focusing on informative and compelling outreach and engagement with them, their parents and school communities as well as others.
leadership educational and skill-building programs across the USA. Through strategic partnering, we intend to connect youth with limited resources to these opportunities by focusing on informative and compelling outreach and engagement with them, their parents and school communities as well as others.
Today, our partnership and programmatic focus is in three areas and includes the following results:
- STEM Gamification: Engaging youth in STEM ideation contests.
- Jeremy Cross Fellows Program: Identifying and sponsoring youth with limited resources to participate in Children’s International Summer Village (CISV) international leadership and life skill summits – We’ve sent youth to Japan, Poland, Spain, and Sweden as international delegates and will send youth to Thailand, in December 2024. Each young person interacts with other youth from 8 countries and is hosted by a local country host family.
- Corporate-Community – Education Partnerships: Bringing together Corporations with Washington, DC Urban Debate League to support middle and high school student debates on STEM and other current topics. Partnered with Corporations and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to provide student mentoring, scholarships, internships, and full-time employment – we worked with 5 Fortune 100 companies and the HBCU community
2025 is just around the corner! It is time to engage all youth so that they, too, are capable, passionate, and prepared to launch and sustain successful careers as well as participate as thriving and valuable members of their communities and the global economy!
